Lignes.

Lignes is a modular urban bench designed by Stéphane Chapelet for MyWay®, a French street furniture manufacturer. Its design follows the studio's principles: a simple line, drawn in a single pencil stroke.

A pencil stroke

The idea behind Lignes follows the studio's principles: a simple line, drawn in a single pencil stroke, then developed while keeping its clarity and original intention. This is a constant in the studio's work.

One element, complete sets

Lignes is made of one element that combines to create complete sets for streets, squares and parks.

Matching lines

Its matching lines inspire its name (lignes is French for lines) and give the product its personality: simple lines, but carefully worked details.

MyWay®

Lignes is commercialized by MyWay® (France).

Circular benches and winding lines

Each Lignes module draws a quarter circle. Assembled, the modules form a winding line, or a circular bench around a tree or a post. The seat is marked with fine grooves of different lengths that run on from one module to the next: with few modules, you create a large number of seats.

MyWay is the concrete street-furniture brand of the Prefac group, made in France.
