S-Combo is an urban bench that combines seating and a planter, designed by Stéphane Chapelet for Lab23®. It brings greenery into the city: people can take a break in harmony with the plants.

A first name: Boolean

Before it was called S-Combo, the product was named Boolean. This first name referred to the Boolean operation between solids used to create its shape in 3D.

A simple, readable form

Its form is simple and readable: seat and planter come together in a single object. Its generous shape offers many seats, for squares, forecourts, pedestrian streets and urban parks.

Modular, with the Wave bench

S-Combo is modular. It can be combined, for example, with the Wave bench to create ensembles of seating and greenery at the scale of a square or a promenade.

Greenery in the city

By bringing seating and planting together, S-Combo helps green public space and creates more pleasant places to pause.

Made in Italy

S-Combo is made in Italy by Lab23®.

Lab23, an Italian manufacturer, makes street furniture in Italy from steel, Corten, wood and Hypergranite. It shows the studio's designs alongside those of Zaha Hadid, at Milan's Fuorisalone and in the specialist press.
