Fifty is 50% bench and 50% planter. Designed by Stéphane Chapelet for Lab23®, this piece of street furniture combines a wooden seat and a concrete planter in a single object.

Half bench, half planter

Its name comes from this split: Fifty is 50% bench and 50% planter. People sit next to the plants, and the planter structures the space around the seat.

Concrete and wood

The planter is made of concrete, sturdy under intensive use. The seat is wood, warmer and pleasant to the touch. Two materials, two functions, one object.

Two functions, less space

By combining two functions, Fifty makes the most of the space available in squares, wide pavements, forecourts and courtyards, while bringing greenery into the city.

Fifty is made in Italy by Lab23®.
