Lumada.

Lumada is an LED street light designed by Stéphane Chapelet for Fontes de Paris®. The second collaboration between the studio and the brand, launched in 2023, it has become another commercial success.

Modernising a catalogue product

The idea behind Lumada: modernise an older product from the Fontes de Paris® catalogue by fitting it with LEDs. The approach is the same as for KJ, to repeat its success: refine, simplify and design a balanced, attractive and highly worked product.

Even lower manufacturing costs

This time, the studio went further in cutting manufacturing costs. The result: a slender light that delivers precise, comfortable lighting, and another commercial success.

Connected and future-ready

Like KJ, Lumada can be fitted with the latest technologies: presence detection, light-level detection and Wi-Fi for remote control. Built around Zhaga standards, it ensures component interoperability and simplified maintenance.

Recycled aluminium

Lumada is cast in recycled aluminium made from soda cans: its 7 kg of aluminium are the equivalent of about 470 33 cl cans.

Fontes de Paris, which holds the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label, makes public-lighting luminaires, including heritage-style lanterns carrying the Origine France Garantie label. Its luminaires light the Champs-Élysées, the Louvre and Place de la Concorde, among others.
