Products designed for your catalogue, your factory and your customers
Chapelet Studio designs products that sell for furniture and lighting manufacturers. Since 2008, the studio has brought more than 80 products to market with manufacturers such as Lab23, Fontes de Paris, .Mdd and MyWay. Several have become best-sellers, some selling several thousand units a year.
Let's talk about your next product
Strategy before design
Every project starts with your market, not with a shape. Before drawing, the studio defines a sales strategy with you: the product's place in your range, your customers, the target price. The concepts come next, with several functional and aesthetic solutions.
Designed for your manufacturing
All the work aims to simplify manufacturing: fewer parts, streamlined processes, controlled costs. The Emme benches on the Jeddah Corniche were designed to be cast on site from exported moulds. The Linka sofa assembles with a simple connector between the legs. The Wing bench ships flat.
A recognisable signature
The studio always starts from a simple line, drawn in a single pencil stroke, and keeps it clear all the way to the finished product. Simple lines, carefully worked details and often modularity: products that give your catalogue a strong identity and help you stand out.
How we work together
Conversation: your goals, your range, your production constraints.
Strategy: positioning, target price, target customers.
Concepts: sketches, then several options.
Development: 3D models, drawings and adjustments with your engineering team.
Prototype and production: the studio supports you until the product is launched.
From the first conversation to the launch, the studio supports you at every step, by video call or in person, with one goal: the product's commercial success.
A win-win partnership
The studio is paid in royalties on sales, as for 95% of its products. It is a win-win system: the manufacturer does not invest any money in the design of the new product, and Chapelet Studio has as much interest as its partner in the product's success. Success is shared. Each product is reserved exclusively for you.
This system works very well for everyone, because the vast majority of the products brought to market are commercial successes. As proof, the products designed for Acropose have stayed in its catalogue since 2002. Crossed and Zadig have been in the Lab23 catalogue since 2010 and have sold all over the world. They have been joined by many others, such as Aveo, KJ and Linka. Some products sell several thousand units a year, and some have even passed ten thousand units sold.
